Have you ever been blocked for strange reasons?

Mostly happens to me when I disagree with someone on the forum. Recently there was a discussion which I tried to bring back on facts, these people rageblocked me. Good riddance but definitely a bad way to have a conversation

How often does it happen? I’d rather be blocked because my sexual fantasies got a bit too extreme

I hear this a lot but remember that a lot of people (myself included) use the block feature to remove people from their searches that they know wouldn’t make a good match sexually. If I fundamentally disagree with someone in a forum or they show a side of themselves that I don’t like/is a red flag, then why wouldn’t I block them ? It’s not “rage blocking” or being petty , it’s simply a case of saving myself time later by filtering out incompatible partners.

And no, I have no idea why people have blocked me , each to their own

Jeans aren’t comfortable. You have to undo your belt and buttons to make them even bearable to lounge around in. Just whip them off and sit in your boxers.

I'm blocked by lots of people on the forums and I've always assumed it was because I don't subscribe to the echochamber love-in that the forums can often be.

It can't really be anything to do with having nothing in common and they are blocking so I don't appear in searches because most aren't even in the same country so it's highly unlikely I'm going to pop up in their local updates.

If I find that someone has blocked me I just block back and that's the end of it.

I'd say it depends on the cheese. A smoked cheddar can smell pretty lush, but Emmental or Parmesan usually smell like stinky feet!

Just remembered there is somebody who blocked me because they felt I was very critical (I would personally say I was just being "observant" but there you go..) about the poor performances of their favorite football team, and making jokes about how bad they were. Rather than counter my observations or at least return the banter, they instead appeared to take it deeply personal that I didn't think the team they supported were performing very well. That is probably the stupidest reason I've been blocked.

Mostly happens to me when I disagree with someone on the forum. Recently there was a discussion which I tried to bring back on facts, these people rageblocked me. Good riddance but definitely a bad way to have a conversation

There must be some secret list somewhere.

There's someone I've never seen before this week, who I tried to message, only to be told I had blocked them. They're not on my blocklist, and I can think of no reason I'd have blocked them, as they seem perfectly nice.

I can only assume it's a glitch. Or amnesia.
