Some change their name often.

Others now and then. Others never.

I often think people have left only to find they are still here but 'rebranded'

I've also spoken to people and thought ...... I know you OR they speak to me as if they know me and I haven't got a sodding clue who they are ?

Just how many different reasons will we find on this thread ?? Some'll be interesting ....

Gone and completely forgotten.

I picked mine on the spur of the moment when I signed up. I thought of "better" names since, but I don't see the sense of becoming a supporter just for that.

I'd been Dirty Danish for a few years, lots has happened since then, I was part of a couples profile Doughnut and Danish, I mean we are still a couple but we deleted the profile in January after 8 years, our life took a very different turn, I've deleted profiles so much in the last couple of months and when I was finally ready to come back properly (well to talk on the forums at least), I joined again under a different name, got site supporter and got DirtyDanish2.0 but it didn't feel right.

While we was away, I said the phrase lady boner and I just thought that was good for shits and giggles.

I've never changed mine on an existing profile but this is my fourth profile in 8 years and I've had a completely different name on each one mainly because I don't want any direct link to previous profiles and my reasons for leaving.

The same goes for verifications. I don't ask for people who have verified me previously to do so again.
