...is one of our most enduring stories, but which is your go-to version? The original novel? The Boris Karloff film and the black and white Universal film series that followed? Hammer's version with Christopher Lee? Kenneth Branagh's film with Robert De Niro? And are you looking forward to Del Toro's upcoming adaptation?

Right now I'm watching a fuzzy recording of an 80s BBC version with Robert Powell, Carrie Fisher and David Warner.

Glasgow

The black and white Universal film for sheer impact on horror alone. I really liked the portrayal of the monster in Penny Dreadful too.

Del Toro tends towards some fantastic visuals. I'm hoping to be impressed

London (She/Her)

It was one of the texts for my a level and, along with the Dickens, I never actually bothered to read it. Fuck knows how I got a B, especially as I didn’t answer the Shakespeare question at all
