Having recently been told by a couple I had been meeting for nearly 4 years that they no longer wanted to meet , Some bullshit excuse they made up instead of saying they had moved on ,Which happens and I understand

I see they still have pictures that include me on their media ,Should I message them asking for them to be removed or am I being petty about the fact ?

What would you do ?

"

I'd let them keep them on there, and simply move on.

Carlisle usually

I think it's a matter of common decency and respect to not include explicit photos of people you used to see.

To my mind any consent given during the relationship/situationship/whatever can't be expected to transfer to the future after a separation without and clear conversation about that.

But. People are people. And does it matter if they think you're petty?

depends how you feel about the photos.

its you are in the pictures so of course you have a choice!

the same as if you are using the same pics on your profile.

if you dont want them seen by others most normal people wouldnt have a issue and remove.

just do it the right way and word it correctly so it does seem are you are just having a little hissy fit because they "chinned you off".

I had pictures of someone I met and played with at a needle workshop. He was fine about me using his photos and crediting him in them. Then he got involved with a female couple who attended the workshops and would blank me there which I wasn't arsed about. Then I started getting messages from the women telling me he's been cheating on them and probably has STDs. Then he started messaging me saying women are spreading lies about him and would I like to meet up.

I declined as I'm not a fan of the drama. Time passed then I got the "you shouldn't have photos of me on your profile if you are not willing to fuck me".

I blocked him and deleted the photos so he has no idea if they are gone or not

I get that consent can be withdrawn at any time and respect that but not everyone feels that way. Its rare that I let others use compromising photos of me as people can switch to dick mode without warning. I'm sure someone has photos of me in their "friends only" on here but I don't care as "action shots" on a single guys profile is more of a hindrance than a help anyway.

We would never display pics of someone we’ve stopped playing with.

For us, any consent is ended when the play relation is ended, even if they are still friends.

I never understand why single guys have ex GF’s or partners on a profile

Looks like I will be sending a message asking for them to be removed as they were put on without permission in the first place

I’d move on mate, are the pictures being up affecting you in anyway or giving them any benefit that you don’t want them to have any more, like a royalty. If anything they’ll probably think it’s petty and you’ll scupper any chance of maybe meeting them in the future ?

If you’re not identifiable in them just move on.

It wouldn’t bother me if they kept displaying it. It was a time we all enjoyed and why shouldn’t they keep that?

Request removal and full deletion, if not meeting again.
