I bought an Xmini speaker for playing music I had downloaded on my phone.

It's about the size of a snooker ball,I didn't think sound wise it would be all that great, but it was pure cheap, and very compact, ideal for those hotel night's.

when it arrived,I was kinda expecting the worst,

But WOW! WOW!! WOW !!! the sound quality is friggin amazing,I'm flabbergasted by it's goodness.

what have you bought, and been really surprised by how good,or bad it was.

Truro

I bought Kate a Kitsound Boombox ipod docking station for Christmas and I was amazed at the sound quality and the power of the sound. It's like having a disco in the lounge.

I did a bit of research beforehand on Which? and it got comparable reviews to the Bose system at 20% of the price.

It's a great piece of kit

I thought those things only worked if they're plugged into the same ring circuit?

I only wear hard soled slippers, anything else is just socks, with bobbles.

Stick around, there's a ring circuit thingy going down, that sounds fairly kinky.

Or electrical,if thats the case you can go.

We have some of these connected to our sons xbox, think they were about 25 quid against 50 quid for a wireless connector not a difficult choice to make really

I know they have to be plugged directly into the wall socket according to the instructions. Not sure about having to be the same circuit, only that they work!

I bought these and the house is massive therefore I have a different ring circuit upstairs and they don't work, downstairs on the same ring circuit they do.
