Game changers around the home!

We were gifted some bedding recently (don't worry we washed it beforehand) and it came with zips in the pillowcases and the duvet, utter game changer in our house as the duvet and pillows were always slipping out, not this time!! Never seen any with zips, buttons yes but never zips!

Anyone else got anything that makes life a bit, well not easier but helpful?!

Exactly the same as you, Zips are the best on bedding, you can wash it all and no other items can enter the duvet

I have withstood wealth and all its trappings. I have withstood poverty, homelessness.

I am comfortable in my insanity.

But the thing - the ONE and ONLY thing that breaks me - is buttons on duvet covers.

People say I look cute as I do that "little boy tongue to one side concentration thjng".

Fuck them!

Fuck them, and double-fuck button duvets!!!

My last duvet zipped in two so you could unzip it and bung it in the washing machine. I went into grief when I had to retire it.

I will go even further than that mine also has zips and in every corner it has strings so you can tie it around the duvet corner's to stop it moving around inside the case, now that's a game changer, check your zipped duvet it might also have strings

I got a wonderful "squirt absorber sheet" from Amazon - reversible, pale pink and sky blue.

Pretty, and very effective.

I should probably wash it soon though

I've started using disposable gloves when doing my meal prep so I don't have to wash my hands for 5 minutes after fisting a bowl of turkey mince
