I call disappointments a learning curve, my last one, not so much a disappointment but more of "wtf" moment, we got off a flight at Stansted about 2am, booked a hotel room and thought we would get the shuttle bus (my fault because I didn't actually look prior) we waited an hour (you know, as getting to any hotels around Stansted is like taking your life in your hands), bus came "£4 each" FOUR POUNDS?! EACH?! we could have got an Uber for cheaper. I wouldn't mind but I got discount at the hotel, which didn't seem to be a saving once I stuck the right quid is cost us to get there!

Then the next morning, we went for breakfast, we had the continental, I left an almost full pot of tea and a slice of jammed toast ready for my full English (and a fresh cup of coffee) came back less an 3 mins later and everything gone on the table, even my vape. I was not amused.

St Leonards

The wonderfully colourful canvas print I have of sunset over the Seine, Eiffel Tower dominant...is somewhat rendered disappointing on closer inspection.

The Tower is, uhm, perched on a bridge. As in clearly, unambiguously.

The Tower DOESN'T perch atop a bridge.

Took a whole day to realise.

I'm still laughing.

Crying?

Laughing...

No wonder it was cheap...
