Without TMI I had a bad night with a bad tummy last night.

What do you do/eat/drink when you have this?

Feel very drained and fragile this morning!

Water and buttered toast or a small bowl of rice pops if I think I can stomach it.

I generally try to eat fruits, and just drink water.

A couple of months ago I had a horrible stomach bug. I couldn't eat for thirty six hours but when I finally could that was all I could manage. I think the salts in it might help too but it didn't irritate my stomach at all.

You need salts. Rehydration stuff like a sports drink is ideal. Water won’t cut it alone.

I had bread with my Bovril. I was soooo hungry I had to have something.

Water is good. When our son was little he got rotavirus and I caught it from him. The doctor said we must sip water every five minutes to rehydrate.

Just water, in case of infection. After that, very light food. Lots of rest.

When I was unwell as a child , my parents would say I should not have food but I could have Rich tea biscuits, so now i always keep a few packets in the cupboard for when my kids are unwell. They're plain and soften easily so easy to eat
