It feels better without.

But I'm not putting my partners at extra risk for the sake of a slight increase in enjoyment when it still feels fucking good with

No condoms and choose responsible partners wisely.

Std risks are actually surprisingly low and there's no fun in life without some risk.

Last time I tried to use a condom I lost my erection and called it a day.

Ghastly things.

Some info..

There are only 4 STDs that are incurable. HIV, HPV, hep B and herpes.

Everything else is a treatable minor thing these days.

So, hep B, I'm vaccinated so no worries.

HPV, not really an issue for men.

HIV, the risk is overblown. Did you know that the risk of getting hiv through receptive vaginal intercourse with a hiv positive person is only 0.08%? Statistically, you have to backback a hiv positive guy 1250 times to ensure you catch it..

Also, it's not the death sentence it once was and with medication you'll live a normal life.

Also, you can always take prep to almost entirely eliminate the risk.

Third also, hiv can still be caught through oral sex and very, very few people are insisting on protection for oral.

The only std that truly scares me is herpes. I'm terrified of it. I wouldn't go near anyone who even has a coldsore.

And with that, condoms offer relatively little protection anyway..

So yeah. As long as you're not indiscriminately shagging anything that moves, you should be ok.

Also, you have a 1 in 93 odds of dying in a car crash. Yet most of us do it every day without fear.

The odds of getting your life seriously impacted by an std are pretty negligible.

The leading cause of preventable death of heart disease, yet obese people are worried about condoms.

Make it make sense..

What you're saying is like saying "you've got a one in two chance of developing cancer, so I'm not going to bother looking before I cross the road or play in traffic.".

Why take risks that can be avoided?

(And you do you, I'm not telling you what to do, but that's how it makes sense. You mitigate for risk where you can, even where the risk is low)

I disagree.

I regularly take risks in the name of fun. Skydiving, bungee jumping, all extreme sports etc. flying on a plane for a holiday...

All avoidable risks. But life is about having fun and enjoying it, and sometimes those fun things involve risk.

Of all the risks I take on a regular basis, unprotected sex with a decently vetted person is probably the safest one.

And the reward is more than worth it for me. Sex is one of life's greatest pleases and it's free. Condoms just suck all of the joy out of it for me..

If it’s a long term fb or fbw that can provide test results ever couple off weeks then no condom

And I appreciate your input. I was just saying why I think it's questionable rationale.

I'm ok trading a mild risk for a pleasure. But I'm the kind of guy who chooses a bacon sandwich over a bowl of muesli. That little risk is worth it for the large amount of extra taste, y'know..
