Afternoon fab familia hope you’re all well

Do you like getting messages that compliment your photos?

Or would you just rather not get them?

I often see photos / videos and just want to say WOW but then think ‘what do they care’ haha

Intrigued to know

I sometimes receive messages complimenting me for my profile and/or photos. As long as they are sincere and kind I don't have an issue.

I'm not a fan of 'faux flattery' though.

I think paying compliments is a nice thing to do. If you really appreciate the time and effort that people have put into something and you like the end result, then I think a compliment is the right thing to do.

Equally if someone treats you well and is kind to you then it's nice to pay a compliment for that too.

When I pay someone a compliment, it is genuine and heartfelt and I do for no other reason than I appreciate who they are and what they have done.

I know how I look. I don't find compliments from strangers particularly relevant to me, and often just seem like the thing they think they have to say to get an in rather than an honest compliment.

Compliments from my partners though, they mean something to me

You can normally tell the ones that aren't genuine. Usually their complement will be way OTT & is often immediately followed up with a random friend invite

I’m not one for compliments. On another site where I have my face pics, someone send me a really OTT compliment recently and I found that it really turned me off.

I did say to the person thanks but tone it down, and they did it again. That was it, blocked.

I wonder why I react that way? Not sure. I think I have a keen eye for insincerity, possibly

"I like to pay a compliment if a lady has good banter or looks great in pics is this wrong?"

It's not wrong, but it might not be appreciated.

I mean, I'd rather hear a compliment than an insult, but it doesn't mean that the compliment will result in anything other than a delete either.

(This is hypothetical, my message filters don't allow for such a thing)

Yes I hand out compliments but that’s just me being me

Telling someone they beautiful doesn’t mean i instantly want to shag them I just being me being nice and trying to give them a little smile as they read

I don’t mind a compliment ither as long as it’s not totally blown over the top

Like your the most beautiful on fab or world or something like that now I know your bs I don’t need my ego stroked

Now if you would have just sed your beautiful it would have went a longer way that most beautiful on fab world or what ever

Oh yeah, but there's a difference between, say, you and me talking and me saying nice things in the course of that - and a random message saying "nice knockers, luv, my gorgeous man meat would smash" (particularly when it's sent more than once with identical typos each time - has happened to me, not that exact message)

It's not that original

And it's usually in a message that's completely nauseating - some really bad writing (erotica is being too kind) that has me squirting from Salford to Stockport upon the mere sight of his gorgeous man meat or some shit.

Yes I do like getting compliments for making an effort.

I don't get messages about them but I have been tagged in a few threads when people discuss the quality of men's pics.

That tells me that some people do like them which is often a surprise because it's not reflected in the number of fabs they receive so it's always nice when someone says they like them.
