I guess about 20+ in varying stages of ragginess. The oldest ones are for drying the dog, other older ones are for mopping up any wetness on the tiled bathroom floor, dying hair etc then the rest are on the shelf unit in the bathroom. I would guess there are about 6 bath sheets, 10 bath towels (for hair)and around 6 hand towels.

They're not all colour co-ordinated though.

There are 4 of us in the house.

We have about 5 shitty towels for hair stuff and general mucky duties.

Then we have about 10 good bath towels and 6 hand towels.

I got out of the shower the other day and there were no towels, I went to my teenage sons bedroom and he had about 6 bath towels in his floor.

We have loads of towels - each of us (6) has their own (several) sets and then there are spare towels for guests. They are colour coordinated to the bathrooms, too. And a pile of (individual/ different) towels for the beach and a different pile for the swimming pool

And then we have a large pile of even more towels from massaging....

NONE are in any state of raggedness - they go way before that stage

2 Bath towels

2 Hand towels

2 Face towels

And a complete spare set for visitors....

Not sayin I'm a boyscout but I have spare sanitary towels, in case the ladies get caught short.....

Bath sheets are huge and probably go boobs to knees when wrapped around. Bath towels do waist to knees/ boobs to bum
