Sorry OP dyslexia. But to answer the OP is it socially acceptable yeah. If you ask any female if they have had their advances rejected at some point or another, the answer will be yes. It's really rather common for women as well.

I've lost count of the number of times I've been told in messages that men on fab don't have choices.
