Both are good mess tin food. Spam makes for good breakfast. It's not bacon but it does the job, if you cook it right.

But corned beef hash, with some powdered mash. Use the mess tins to make a little oven and get it a little crispy. Top scran.

When did corned beef become so damn expensive? That’s definitely my choice out of them too. Spam, just reminds me of school meals that were crap.

Either/or when I must, handy for the cupboard but that expensive now that I rarely buy them.

I guess corned beef, mash potato and beans for a nostalgic council tea.

"Spam with kimchi "

My son went to Korea for the World Scout Jamboree and he said that particular combo is really popular over there.

Personally I choose corned beef.

My husband likes it so much he learnt to make his own kimchi (he has his uses). It's really good.

Spam fritters, bbq sauce dip.

Both equally filthy, but awesome.

Lifes Departure Lounge in NN9

Both Spam and Corned Beef formed a major part of my growing up both during and after the war.

Food rationing lasted until 1953 by which time fresh meat was becoming more available.

I still have both Spam and Corned Beef my food cupboard and regularly enjoy Corned Beef fritters.
