20 yrs ago - I’d have probably been driving back from whatever ridiculous location I’d be called out to, to carry out emergency works.

Now - I’ve just tucked Mini Wick into bed, she gets to stay up late on Fridays. I’ll probably get a romp on with Mrs Wick for 10 minutes.

Would of been in the local club taking advantage of the early “bogof” before 10pm deal, with about 10 vks on a bar with a straw in each and rocketing them down like they were going out of fashion, whilst cutting shapes to “tease me” by Chaka Demus and pliers hoping a lady with a low enough sense of self esteem took pity on me and showed some love.

10 past 9 on a Friday 20 years ago… I would’ve just been getting ready to go out raving. Dance Friday night til Sunday early hours and then a little sleep before Monday at work. Wednesday night at the gay club. Rinse and repeat. Life was awesome
