Tonypandy.

I've always looked for small local charities, who don't have the same level of publicity as the 'big ones'. Set up a just giving / gofundme page.

I've done fire walk, broken glass walk, bed of nails for charities myself.

Cambridge (She/They And They/Them)

A Smartie Tube of 20p coins is about £12. If you bulk-bought some smarties and asked your friends to raid their change jar you could raise a fair bit.

Just giving page for your charity of choice better than go fund me as then eligible for gift aid.

If you work for a company does it do matched funding?

Regularly update your friends and family about your running progress but you'll get the most funds in the last few days before the run and in the week after.

What do you enjoy doing other than fab?

Pub quiz, bake sale, raffle .... all sorts you can do but link it to so.ething you are interested in.

And well done on getting a place and choosing to run for charity.

Thank you very much …. I had the usual cake sale / raffle type ideas in my head …but wondered if people had other fun ideas to mix it up a little
