That first sip of ice cold sparkling water after a long day.

The sensation of climbing into freshly washed and dried bedding.

The joy of unclipping my bra after four and changing in to my soft knitwear.

The pleasure in exchanging messages with people that make me smile.

That little moment early in the morning, long before many are awake and the birdsong fills the garden. I can stop and breathe and be for a few minutes with no real thoughts.

I saw a little baby in a pram before, so cute I had an instant melty awww and wanted to say hi.

Then my brain was hit with a cacophony of memories. Shitty nappies, winding, bottles, fatigue holy shit the fatigue of feeling you are running on empty but can't stop.

And I felt even better that it was her and not me.
