No Ben Hur

I remember when I was a kid and all shops were closed on a Good Friday, Ben Hur or something like that would be on the telly on a Good Friday. Mom would give us an early Easter egg. Those were the days

Post boxes had only one collection too! I also got together with my ex fiancée on a good Friday lol that was a GOOD Friday lol

nowadays tis all about the money money money

special occasions are not like used to be.

shops were closed on certain days..holiday periods...same as sales were actually money off everything in shop..not stock bought in especially to get rid off.

Everyone wrote letters and bought cards..now its tex maninly....god i feel old

I still like writing a letter and still send thank you cards out, I love getting a letter in the post and hearing all the news from back home
