If someone who would be filtered outvfrom trying to message you tries to leave a veri it won't go through. You need to PM them first to enable it. If you don't want the hundreds of crude messages: Don't have topless/naked pics Don't proclaim to be the best at anything Don't list what you like Use the filters. If you aren't in the mood for messages, block all men. I'm not saying you have to do that I'm saying it works if you just want the odd decent message. "As someone who deletes and rejoins this site a lot I use the filter button before I "go live". I get the same messages from the same people time and time again. Like they are poised waiting to click their copy and paste message to any new female. Most are vile too so obviously they don't get anywhere with them. " I honestly don't know what some think they'll gain with the types of messages sent. I locked my profile down quickly - well I thought I was quick just not quick enough but all is good now.

I keep my filters quite strict, I rarely upload new pics or put up a status. All that attracts attention so I presume that helps, my block list is also huge. | |||

I've 189 unread, I don't get half as many as some ladies, probably because of my profile wording, so those are ones that decide not to read it and just message."
