Does it matter whether a person is wealthy when considering a match with someone or even a meet?

It doesn’t matter to me if someone is wealthy but I do hope someone I matched or planned to meet with has some sort of income

Interested to see what the for unites opinions are

I could be being dumb (it happens a lot) but I can’t see how wealth has any impact in who you meet. Yes there can be expenses, like hotels and champagne [special brew] but as long as you’re both prepared to contribute and compromise you can work something out

The wealth of someone doesn't really come into consideration other than can he pay his way for any social, hotel etc

Definitely a consideration if I am considering a relationship... don't need wealthy ... I am happy to pay my own way just don't have any desire to keep a man.

I would have said that if you meet at theirs then a wealthier person may live in nicer surrounding, a private garden, better quality plonk. Me, I tend to ask if they can use a club hammer rather than drink a club soda

The reason for this query is to try and justify requests to fund Fab subscriptions in return for a “meet” etc.

Most folk have an income yes and this is irrelevant as is anything beside FAF, which I’m yet to encounter

But yeah mutual cost sharing when booking something or if asked, like Dutch dinner, is plausible.

If I met at my place and someone asked yo in a bad car it's an instar turn off. If I met at theirs, I like nice sheets, fluffy towels... or nice hotels suits! Nice perfume, manners... nothing turns me on more than a man that can discuss business and investments... I like an equal I can resonate with and that shares a similar lifestyle, so I never feel attracted to someone without a good income

Yeah it's actually my main priority when meeting someone. I want to make sure they can afford more than a Tesco meal deal because I like to be fed before anal. And I want fancy hotels not Premier Inn. Wealth and willingness to spend is often conflated. The latter can be on credit and not a true indicator of wealth. (New) Money shouts, wealth whispers.

The latter can factor into to meet considerations: ie. Will I end up footing the bill for a hotel/club/drinks, and if so, will the juice be worth the squeeze.

Whereas wealth does not, given that I’m not looking for a future with meets.

No. Well, I wouldn't want to pay for everything for anyone and I also wouldn't want to feel bad if I'd rather not stay at a budget hotel.

On the same hand, and with a smidgen of hypocrisy, I don't like those who are snobby and with a superiority complex, believing wealth makes them better. Does zilch for me and I'm never impressed.
