Borrowing a husband

Husband there is shorthand for all male other halves.

Hannah surprised me (Luke) a couple of months ago that she would be OK with me seeing other women without her when previously we had agreed we would only do that together. She feels our relationship is very strong and me having sex with other women would not be a threat to our relationship. I was surprised she said this and it genuinely did come from her without any prompting from me.

What I'm wondering is which women the idea of seeing a man who is taken if it is consensual? Which women like their male partners to see other women? Which men are afforded this particular privilege? How easy/difficult is it to find women or couples for this? How does it work for those involved in this dynamic?

Got to be honest, if it’s a couples profile and it states that the man can meet alone, I always wonder why the woman doesn’t meet alone - is she allowed or is it a male dominance thing.

Coincidentally we are on the lookout for a regular guy and probably a guy from a couple is appealing more in terms of reliability now.

I have. I wouldn't want an imbalanced relationship. She's just not one for seeing multiple men on her own so she's unlikely to take advantage of it.

There are two reasons why we don't mention on our profile that Hannah can meet other men. It's not something that particularly excites her and we don't want loads of messages from men wanting to shag her. The messages we get from men are bad enough as it is.

I'd happily meet the male half of a couple alone. In terms of dynamic, well it varies a lot doesn't it? I'm not too comfortable with the female half being a silent witness - if she wants to get involved, great, that's different. If it's the case that him and I talk and she reads without me knowing, our dalliance is discussed in great detail etc... it does nothing for me.

I'd only do it now if I was sure of the stability of the relationship. This might be (fuck it, it is) confirmation bias but I've found men are far happier for women to meet others alone than women are for their male partner.

I'm not interested in that drama.

One even turned up with flowers his wife had bought me He used to stay over as they lived in Liverpool

It's funny you should say this, but my wife is the same with me. I think the best description she has given me is the ‘hot husband’ moniker, which is somewhat flattering for plain ol' me, in my humble opinion

We're always happy for Husbands to join alone. It brings out my Cuckcake side.

And as we have no interest in couples, it also increases the volume of possible connections.

We always make contact with the wife though to ensure she does know and is consenting. We wouldn't meet if that wasn't possible

I have done this before. Always had a social with both of them first and a group chat. Given that I'm not single, I'd be a bit of a hypocrite to say I wouldn't meet someone else in my situation. It's finding people that are okay with a long term or regular thing that i struggle with as i dont do one offs. As long as its all above bored and consensual, I'm happy.

I would normally try to avoid as I suspect it must be hard to avoid drama.

Just last week a wife from an allegedly “open marriage” created a profile and messaged saying a friend told her they’d seen her husband’s profile and my veri, please could I tell her more about his adultery.

She acted with remarkable maturity and decorum, being respectful towards me when she must have been in personal hell, so I have no complaints about her just the situation

I am not a jealous person.

I would not mind my partner going to a club with friends or meeting a couple or group etc ....

I would not want him to meet more than once with a single woman ...

I wouldn't view her as a threat but more than once sews the beginnings of a relationship and whilst I don't mind him eating in restaurant or cafe I don't want him changing where he gets his home cooking.

Yes I believe it was her, she opened by saying she was his wife, saying his full actual name, and briefly citing the background to how he and I actual knew each other. She also said her name, so I checked her on Facebook to see if the names matched and someone if her name was indeed married to him. I don’t see why he would have contacted me pretending to be her. She had just found out her husband was on hook up sites behind her back, it was clearly distressing for her, if I were in that situation it would feel hellish to me.

Doxxing, phishing. I have had random "women" giving me abuse. Just be careful who you give your data to.
