How many times have you fallen in love?

Are you lucky enough to find it a second time?

Are you blessed to still be with your first love?

Are you a serial lover?

Love isn’t a rare thing, not even romantic love. I’ve fallen in love, lost them and kept myself open to love again. It’s just about being open to it

Fallen in love? Three times.

Loved someone? Quite a few times.

I'm not with my first love, no. But I'm still blessed. Blessed that she's happy, I'm happy, we're friends and we still love each other. Just not in love with each other.

I wouldn't say I'm a serial lover, no. I do love quite easily, care for people deeply. Once they're under my skin, that's me half way there really. I like loving people. It's a beautiful gift to have and share.

Love is giving someone the power to destroy you, and trusting them not to use it.

You can’t control if they do.

TLDR;

I think so.

It was definitely an attraction, a crush if not love at first sight for me. Which when that friendship developed into a situationship one inebriated and uninhibited evening was a blessing and a curse.

To feel that way about someone and to be with them for a perfect moment was absolutely incredible, less so the abject and absolute heartbreak of it not being reciprocated in that way.

A few nights of sex, but countless more nights sharing the bed, sharing intimate moments; physically and mentally. The deep conversations in the middle of the night, when the candles have burned low, the wines running dry and the stars twinkle.

In the end, she asked me what I wanted; the answer was simple; her.

Her company in any capacity. It’s a sweet suffering to have been so intertwined and now just friends, I’ve compartmentalised and moved on, kept my distance from her and healed but I’d be lying if I denied having some residual hope and remnants of love for her.

I like infatuation and the excitement and out for someone. It can be short lived I know, but it’s better than not feeling ‘anything’ for someone I suppose.

Only once, not that long ago.

I believe he was my actual twin flame and I don’t care what anyone thinks about it. It felt exactly like that.

Taken too soon by an aggressive type of cancer, and all I have left is a couple of pictures, messages and voice notes I will never delete, and memories I will never forget.

This.

But if it does happen it's important to recognise that that incidence was about you and them. Not anyone else.

It doesn't mean you have to shut yourself off from loving anyone else in the future. Not always easy, but important.

the abyss

I suppose everyone else will deem love as something slightly different.

It's an interesting thing really that something essentially so beautiful can cause so much pain, much of which you don't have control over.

Leaving yourself open to that can be difficult and sometimes the feeling that you are safer alone can he hard to push away

"How many times have you fallen in love?

I thought I'd been in love - a couple of times. But maybe it was just infatuation. I care too soon and too easily. Is that love? I don't know, but it's who I am. I've tried not to care, but that hurts me more than caring and being let down. Over and over.

So... I don't know whether I've ever been in love, but my heart has definitely been broken many times. And I'm sure it'll happen again!

I think I’ve only been in love once and the sad thing is it wasn’t with my husband. I thought I loved him but looking back nope.

I had a long term fwb after my marriage ended and I’d never experienced anything like it before we just clicked on everything, we could chat for hours without ever getting bored, I got butterflies every time we spoke or met. I’m not sure what it was about him tbh. Feelings weren’t 100% reciprocated and it ended, it broke my heart and I still miss him terribly, we’re friends but not sure it will ever be anything more than that again. But neither of us seem to be able to make that complete break from each other. Sometimes it’s better to have someone in your life as friends than not at all. But it is a struggle at times

A few times .... don't love any of them now.

Felt feelings of love in last relationship and the previous situationship ..... was not reciprocated in either case ....

so decided they were not for me ... happily single now .... love my kids and close friends ...

no prospect of romantic love on fab and not proactively looking to date on other apps etc.

Nope no never...love is something you cannot see hence the saying

Love is blind

Not here to find love in a romantic way. I know folk have and married.

I cannot trust anyone to start any kind of relationship because hiding behind keyboard you can say shit but have hidden agenda.

I am though a lover and hate fighting. Just bought a relationship book work related. All about how to keep anxiety away
