The matchmaking part should be easy enough but I wonder how you get the inputs in a reasonable format (csv?) Do you use plain old Excel or a scripting language?

If you're manually normalising the names instead of scr-aping (stupid checks), then this may well be the most work for a thread idea I've seen - kudos to you!

My young Cavalier, do not ever ask a lady about her matriculation and her methods of numerical madness. The OP was studious in her analytical groupings and statistical whatnots. That list is infuriating - you can't combine programming languages, analytics frameworks and file formats into a list like that!

I agree with you, good sir, but given the effort differential between the easiest and hardest way to do this, I can't help but be curious.
