I enjoyed Beyond Paradise on a Friday evening. It was a gentle introduction to the weekend. I love Bettany Hughes recent programmes and I'm a big fan of Alice Roberts. Have I Got News For You, Clarkson's Farm and After Life are favourites too.

I have a TV but it is rarely on other than for background noise

I will watch occasionally - I enjoy Simon Reeve's programmes and liking the Michael Palin 'Nigeria' series

Other than that, Antiques Roadshow lulls me into bed on a Sunday, but I don't religiously watch much - I would never set my calendar to what is on TV and I don't have any recording devices or streaming services

So, if it's on, I'll watch it, if I miss it, I miss it

I used to watch things like 'helicopter medic' but found myself assuming medical knowledge I didn't actually have. I do enjoy the fly on the wall ambulance shows though.

Switch ours on about 7pm and it's usually off again by 9pm even if we aren't working we just can't stand day time TV. We always have music on throughout the day if we are at home.

Yes, there’s usually at least one series at any given time that I’ll be watching on either terrestrial or streaming.

I do watch a lot of stuff on YouTube too, but the majority of that is interest based (training, martial arts, guitar, cars, etc.)

It’s the only way I switch off; can’t read more than a paragraph in a book without thinking of a million other things.

Besides sporting events, I haven't watched TV regularly since about 2001.

Frankly, TV has looked kind of obsolete to me ever since I discovered video games at age 6.

I just didn't see how adults could sit in front of a non-interactive image projection box, with very little variety of content, for such a long time and remain entertained.

I do watch television, but nowhere near as much as I used to do, mainly due to changes in lifestyle habits and the plethora of streaming services, of which I only subscribe to one. Sadly, Freeview seems to consist of the more mundane programmes, except for the occasional gem, in my humble opinion, and this is probably why my consumption has dwindled over the years.

Only streaming platforms like netflix, Disney, YouTube etc. Never got an ariel for my TV but coz its a Samsung they have their own digital chanels, I just leave it on the Conan o'Brian channel

I think I even remember the last rugby match I watched. I believe the 'world' (lol) cup final between South Africa and New Zealand.

It was the year when Jonah Lomu was bulldozing through everyone and to be fair he was box-office.

I remember the final being a right stinker though, no tries got scored it was all drop goals, Lomu was anonymous..

Then the post match pundits were calling the greatest game ever & I was like 'you know what i will never understand what people see in this sport'

Ive moved away from terrestial tv but do watch the tv often.

i do enjoy my films and also some series that are out there.

as goes for series im kinda getting sick of the series never finishing or theyve e been cancelled netflix is as bad as the bbc for it if not worse.

as goes for the tv license it should be a mast charge only tacked onto your council tax 50.00 mast charge.

so anyone can receive the signal to the other channels

the one thing that bugs me with tv license some how has more powers than the police do to search your pc to check that your not connecting to live tv through there servers

Good policy. I didn't even start watching until I was about 15, so never thought of it as obligatory. I live very happily without it.

Likewise, I listen to music but it has to be good music, not piffle urovision stuff. Radio Caroline is outstanding for quality of material and relatively free from DJs with verbal diarrhoea. The biggest advantage of being Tv free is not concerning oneself with news or politics.. ..or the consumerist lifestyle!

I do get dragged into watching the odd series and film with H and our kids but generally I just play music or have radio on.
