Blimey, Cliff Wilson - he could pot a snooker ball! My Nan knew Terry Griffiths, given he worked as a postman and in insurance prior to his success. He always used to greet her exuberantly when he’d see her out and about. The ten-year old me was completely star-struck  .

". Cliff could certainly pot a ball and his hair one side was grey the other side less grey. I was 11 when Terry won his World Championship in 1979 watching him and Dennis Taylor was a hard watch for a 11 year old boy as I was then and it was a 3 day final if I remember correctly | |||
