I have the urge to get dolled up and go out, but childcare, lack of somewhere to go & lack of an outfit that fits put a stop to that - so I need other ideas....." Stick music in your ears and go for a stompy walk? Do that regularily with my oldest. Mental health walks do make you feel a bit better. MrsAbz | |||

I get that, childcare particularly. It can be tricky but I find a walk helps massively! Bring the little one(s) to burn off some energy and you might get a little time to yourself when you get back too | |||

Be active, paint something, make something, write something, take photos of something, be creative, bit of exercise, cook something... Call a distant friend you've been meaning to contact and keep putting off, arrange something | |||
