Tv shows you never "got"

A freind on Facebook shared a photo of James Corden and Ruth Jones with the final Gavin and Stacey script. Tried to watch it, never liked it. Thought James Cordens character was thoroughly unlikeable.

What tv shows that are very popular have just left you feeling nothing.

Solihull and Brentwood

The (original?) UK version of the Office.

(Didn't really like Ricky Gervaise until he wiped the floor at the Golden Globes. So funny to watch the stars faces drop, as he layed into them.)

Most 'reality' TV and those talent shows. Love island, x-factor etc.

There's just no entertainment value for me whatsoever.

Scripted shows I normally don't struggle to see why some people like. On the other hand, reality TV shows like love island and what not, I really don't get.

"Mighty Boosh is a good shout. A load of nonsense. "

See its weird I like Noel Fielding and think he is funny in things that he pops up in (I.T Crowd, Darkplace, Bake Off) but have him as the main focus (Boosh and Luxury Comedy) he's too much.

Game of Thrones. I just don't give a shit about fairytale dragon stuff.

Anime - in general. Not a genre I'm interested in.

EastEnders. Most soaps but particularly EastEnders.

TOWIE

Keeping up with the Kardashians

In fact come to think of it, most TV shows are bad.

Dexter- I reckon Michael C Hall's greatest TV work can be found with his Six Feet Under performance.

Sons of Anarchy- I'm told you need to get past the first few episodes to really get into it but I struggle.

Beyond the 80s nostalgia gimmick, Stranger Things. I liked season 1 but by season 3 found it incredibly repetitive.

I don't dislike Breaking Bad. I think it's a good show, but I don't think it compares to shows like The Sopranos, Mad Men and (early) Game of Thrones where character-driven story is far stronger with the wider ensemble and not just a couple of the main players. It pissed me off too, the amount of drug cartel/gang shows that are now churned out because of it.

Really enjoyed The Walking Dead but after Negans introduction (which was great) it did become so slow and seemed like hardly anything happened. Believe it picked up again towards the end.

Dubai & Nottingham

I like all those named above with exceptional of

Sons of Anarchy - probably one of the worst programmes ever made in history. Awful script, shit acting and dismal production.

Soap operas - just bloody depressing

Friends -it’s well made & not badly acted but the central idea - men behaving how they think they aren’t supposed to behave - is just a bit insulting to the average intelligence

I never tried to Gavin and Stacey, people say it's good but it never appealed to me.

I tried bridgerton lately , couldn't get past the first episode.

If there's a TV show I like , it's almost certain it will get cancelled because I have odd taste in TV shows and films
