Remember when …. before this corrupt Tory Government….

You used to be able to sign up for evening courses at schools and collages

What course would you sign up for - french lessons ? Or photography??

Manchester (she/her)

I did my first masters degree through evening classes. Fucking exhausting.

The secondary school near me offers language classes on Saturdays. I'm not sure if it's for kids or adults, though.

You can still attend evening classes...not sure the government has anything to do with it.

About 3 feet away from the fence

I did 2 programming courses in evening classes when I was in my mid 20s.

Java & Visual Basic, little did I know I had chosen 2 of the most useless programming languages for what I wanted to do

If you work for a big company, the adult apprenticeship levy is pretty good.

Mind you, it could have a Tory idea but don't quote me on politics

Sadly the cut backs have really given the opportunity for students to improve grades and indeed offer change in direction means that the opportunities are do sadly depleted

Yoga - and other such courses have been little effected and there is of course more distance learning available too

That must have been all consuming- well done

Even An MBA takes approx 14+ hrs a week on top of living !

Most schools and colleges run adult evening classes and some day time ones. They aren't cheap unless you can claim a discount

At the time I had a job that didn't usually require a lot of brain power, and they didn't care if I studied when there wasn't anything to do

I did loads of VB at a college in the evenings along side a degree in software engineering , those courses have proven invaluable.

I’ve done evening courses in Photography, gold and silver jewelry making ,drumming, cyber security & generative AI but not through colleges, mostly private courses.
