"I was a fan. I liked the episodes that were different/ subverted expectations. Hush, Once more with feeling to name a couple. A new me with Giles as a demon was hilarious. Can't go wrong with Vampire Willow, and the banter between Angelus and wheelchair Spike in S2 was great." Angel really was far more interesting and entertaining as evil Angelus.

Watch the movie its fine, you can even enjoy the movie in its own campy cheesy rights. Where you get brilliant actors basically working for the paychecks. (Donald Sunderland and Rutgher Hauer) can also play a before they were famous (Ben afflex and hillary swank to name a couple). Even have some brilliant and quoateable lines, with my personal favourite being "All I want to do is graduation from high school, go to Europe, marry Christian Slater and die" being my fav. But whay you CAN'T ever do is compare the TV series to it. | |||

"Seasons ranked favourite to least favourite: 5,2,3,1,6,4,7. The top 3 changes regularly. Favourite villain was Glory. Clare Kramer played her brilliantly. Good mix of humour to go with her obvious insanity. Faith possibly my favourite character overall, I think her redemption arc is great. If I had to pick a favourite episode it would be between Becoming, Parts 1 and 2, and The Gift. Both were incredible finales which did justice to the seasons they concluded. I think Spike is a great character but I wasn't so much a fan of him and Buffy as a couple. Their relationship was consistently rooted in abuse, and on both sides.
