What are peoples views on having meets with someone and them having kids or others in the house at the same time ? Do you feel comfortable, awkward with it or not do it ?

No way-not with kids in the house. Mine are teenagers and would absolutely hit the roof!

Absolutely not appropriate. If I was to turn up to someone’s house and she had her kids there I would be off. Can’t believe anyone would even think about it with kids around.

Thanks everyone, i thought that’s what everyone would think .I feel exactly the same, for me it’s a no no . Just wouldn’t feel comfortable with it , and I don’t know how they would feel comfortable doing it .

I wouldn't do it. I did have an experience where someone's kid called me "mum" but it's all avoidable and shouldn't happen, if people are honest, give full disclosure and have respect for everyone.

Absolutely not! Never anywhere where there are children of any age or where they might turn up. I have had this suggested and declined as politely as I could, but that probably wasn’t very polite. I find the idea repulsive, never mind actually doing it.
