Sensitive skin moisturiser

Near Wellingborough

I used to use johnstons new born baby moisturiser but they've stopped doing it. I've tried Aviva,dove and L'Oréal but they leave my face greasy, spotty or both.

Can anyone recommend a good face moisturiser for super sensitive skin?

I've got dry sensitive skin, recently went on beauty bay and got their own brand oat cleanser, moisturiser, serum and so on because the reviews were brilliant and honestly, my skin is super soft now. I can message you a link and let you know what exactly I bought if that helps? x

It’s all in the emulsifier and fragrance. Traditional ones that people swear by are rarely the answer because they use really old technology in that respect. Usually something newer, developed with new less harsh emulsifiers and less fragrance will be better. I use bulldog for my wrinkly old man skin and it’s beautiful to use! So much so that my daughter steals it every fucking day and I can never find it where I (she) left it…

I saw a private dermatologist earlier last year. One thing he advised that was amazing was only washing with Dermol 500. I then use nivia sensitive skin moisturiser.

I second Aveeno, it's the only product I use now, find the body moisturiser absolutely fine for face (and anywhere else).

Zero facial excema breakouts since I started using it a few years ago.

I've used Nivea (pink lid) sensitive skin one for 10 or so years. It's lightweight, non-comedogenic and doesn't cause trouble for my sensitive and acne prone skin. I absolutely love the embryolisse moisturiser too but I save that for when I need more intense moisture.

I've tried HUNDREDS but those two are my faves.

Depends on your budget and skin type but I tend to stick to shea butter based balms/creams. The best I've found are:

Zoe Bee Beauty

Thunderbird skin

Amor skincare.

For me thunderbird skin is the best. The pots are quite expensive but do last a very long time because you don't need as much product per application as with normal creams.

Aside from that, stick to anything that is as natural as possible.

Coconut oil, sweet almond oil, even olive oil are great moisturisers for sensitive skin.

It's going to be quite variable and depending on your specific sensitivity.

The Ordinary moisturiser, Cerave (on sale, big tub), Cetaphil, and Aveeno are worth trying. I get on well with Superdrug vitamin E and Optimum, but your mileage might vary.

I have sensitive skin and have found Nive Soft to be the best for me.

Most other moisturisers, including E45 cream, burn when I apply them to my face.
