Water meter reading

Do you do your own?

Does someone knock?

I received a bill with an estimated use of 16662......my actual meter reading is 7210!!!!

If that helps anyone who doesn't do their own and might start then my day just got a tad better

He tries to read our meter once a month but it's in the street and involves opening a little grid on the floor. I can't do it myself.

I am not sure what others think but anyone I know who has a meter say wish they hadn't. I assume they pay higher bills?

I live on my own and switched to a meter last year.... My old rates were £500 annually, this year it's cost me under £200

My bills are way lower, but I am really careful with my water useage.

Someone reads it every six months and I get a bill that reflects that reading every six months.
