Heated discussion in the office tonight...I've come to Fab forum to canvas opinion:

Is it wrong to microwave a cup of tea rather than make a new one?

Yes it is a slow night!

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Wrong? Wrong?? It should be illegal!

I just think it makes tea taste stewed when you do that. You also run the risk of making it far too hot and burning yourself.

I microwave my tea sometimes;-) But prefer a fresh one. I like my tea with milk and honey, no sugar and no sweeteners. Love the more spicy Indian chai teas

Hate the regular Lipton breakfast tea bags...ewwwwwww

What is so repulsive about reheating a drink in the microwave?

Why is it any different to reheating a meal, or to make pop corn???

When brewed tea goes cold it creates antioxidumdums. This is what causes the stain in your mugs and tea pot. If you heat antioxidumdums they build up inside your body and can cause a condition known as twiningitus.

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

definitely not a microwaved cup of tea. Yuck!

Tea (any variety from tetleys to earl/lady or sunshine grey - current favs) made in a warmed pot, and served black
