Just sat in spoons, having lunch and a couple of pints, updating linkedin, farcebook and catching up on my emails et al.

2 deals and three shoplifters happily re bagging stuff.

Camberley occasionally doncaster

Having sampled the 'spoons menu on occasion I think I can confidently say that, given the choice of electing to eat there over any other option, or shitting in my hands and clapping...I might go and change out of my nice clothes.

Spoons is fine for the price.

We went for a walk down the beach last week, bloody freezing.

Nipped into Spoons, couple of drinks and a bowl of chips and a bowl of onion rings to share, it was brilliant.

Top class eatery, get over yourself, but think it does great for the price.

No, it's not. Too many snobs on here. I use The Rocket in Putney and all the food is very nice.

The same one's that are snobby about Ryanair, Blackpool, Benidorm, Travelodge . Not only do Spoons do good simple food, but give good service too. There's some great historic buildings too, Old Banks, Old Cinemas

Spoons is what I term, cheap and cheerful.

I’ll say another thing also; if you like people watching (as I do) Spoons is true Nirvana as there’s always some really unusual folk frequenting the establishments

King's Crustacean

It's the TOWN and the PEOPLE that make shit places or good places.

I visit Wetherspoons regularly. All of them decent places with a reasonable lunch time menu.

I like the fact they've regenerated a lot of old buildings, I like the fact I can buy 3 cocktails for a tenner there. I also like the fact I can buy a meal & drink for under a tenner

Will it be your best meal out ever? Probably not!... But I've paid plenty more money for similar or worse food elsewhere too.

You can tell the class of a town or an area by the state of its 'spoons

They'll be the same folk who insist they would rather starve to death than pop in a Greggs, or McDonald's too

There are two in Maidstone too... Muggleston's is in a traditional building on the High Street frequented by Pensioners and Winos.

Then Society Rooms next to Maidstone East railway station, frequented by young ones getting tanked up before going clubbing.

I quite like them for Fry Ups and Fish & Chips... Stay well clear of the wine on draft... Never tasted anything so vile!

little house on the praire

Many many years ago before I'd even heard of weatherspoons I found myself in one on broad street. It was absolutely disgusting.

Roll on a few years when they became more popular they improved.

The one here is nice
