Carlisle usually

Like a 2?

I have a couple of bastardised recipes I turn to for peasant food.

And whatever I fire in the slow cooker turns put alright.

But I fucking hate cooking. If it was up to me I simply never would.

I’m about a 4.5 I’d say and the fave meal, the kids love and others I’ve made it for, is red thai curry (mixed meats and prawns) with thick cut proper chips

I have been banned from the kitchen many times, even when I am not cooking. Down side I have done a lot of washing up.

I would love to say I'm a great cook, but I really don't not have the time nor sometimes the patience for it. When I do cook I'm OK, it's edible. I'll go 3 or 4.

I can make anything from scratch...with a recipe...as for stuff I can make from scratch off memory...spag, some pasta dishes..but unless it's something I've learnt from family why risk forgetting something.

So...I'll give myself...7\10

I'd say a 6ish, mostly self taught, my mum wasn't adventurous cook, so mainly shown stews and shepherd's pie and roasts.

I'll throw my hand at anything though, give me a recipe and I'll have a bash

9/10.

I've cooked since being a small child, took food tech at double award GCSE then continued in College. Took a couple of shorter courses over the years in baking, pastries, confectionary, general cookery and other aswell as worked in multiple kitchen roles from being 13 to 27.

My go to home made meal would be anything involving fresh pasta, I love making it because its quick and easy
