We live in troubled times.

Signs of the end are imminent.

Huge questions for humanity:

Israel/ Palestine

Trump/Biden

US tech/Chinese tech

But it seems one debate doesn’t get enough attention:

Airplane vs Naked Gun

I don’t think either airplane or naked gun could be partitioned both hilarious and first rate innuendos and actual comedy but if I had to decide between the two, like balls in a vice decision, I’d have to go with airplane

I am willing to put my reputation on the line and state it is a scientific fact that Airplane can cure depression. Psychiatrists should use it to suss out psychopaths. If you don’t find Airplane funny there’s a screw missing. It’s a shame how far comedic films have fallen in quality. I blame Judd Apatow.

Airplane, absolutely.

Judd Apatow films are funny, just in a different way. He changed the pacing and structure of comedies in some of his later stuff.

Haven’t seen airplane. I envy you. Going from a pre-airplane realm of existence to a post-airplane realm of existence is a once in a lifetime experience.

Surely you can't expect us to choose between the two?

However you can and whenever you can I implore you to watch one, or all, and leave a review

I wish to declare that I only accept the first Naked Gun film as canonical. The other two are fine but shouldn’t be compared to the first.

Seems to be a gender imbalance in airplane viewership. I wonder why that is?

Fell asleep? Understandable. Some people can be cognitively overwhelmed in their first viewing.
