Some people on here will latch on to any form of contact and subsequently bombard the sender, which obviously isn’t pleasant. So, some folks will preemptively block.

Might not explain what happened with you, but it may do.

I must be in the minority compared to some of the viewpoints above: don't interpret it as an invitation or impetus to send a message just because your photograph was Fab'd by someone. Some people are appreciating your photo/s from afar without the fear of being contacted. Take the compliment.

If I fab a photo, it's purely because I like the photo. Literally nothing else behind it.

I'm not trying to get the person's attention, it doesn't mean I want to talk. I fab the pics of folk who aren't compatible with me, if the pic is good. I don't read anything into fabs I've gotten, it's such an unimportant feature at the end of the day.
