Don’t remind me of the humiliation of being inspired by a couple of friends who finished with a very respectable time to sign up. All I can say is thank God I did not get a place. I’m sorta fit but the idea of getting ready for a Marathon began to fill me with dread.

My manager running London on Sunday, so I’ll be keeping an eye on her progress. But good luck to all who are doing the distance, it’s a great day out and I enjoyed it in 2013.

I love the London marathon. It's always a staple in our household to watch it. My dad's uncle raised thousands of pounds running it over the years. My dad has run 4 (I think) and I ran it in 2017. So glad I got to run in my heroes footsteps .

Good luck to everyone running it this weekend.

Evie
