Giant Space Hamsters are from the old AD&D Spelljammer campaign setting. There was also a Miniature Giant Space Hamster - same size as a normal hamster

Sometimes things went really well for him like having orgies with Marijuana Girl and her mates, sometimes though terrible like the cops coming down on him really hard, kicking the shit out of him half dead.
