They can't give it away in the USA"Licensed trade professional here. Used to be coalface in bars. Moved up. The last 15 years has been all about a switch in drinking habits. Standard, branded, long-established beers have been falling off long term. Even little local pubs will have a craft - or, importantly, a corporate fake craft - beer on. Bud Light was always a weak brand. Proper Bud is bad enough but light? It was declining so fast before the Dylan Mulvaney nonsense. I mean if you really want I can show you stats. The Bud Light line over the Lagunitas, Brewdog, fake-rebadged "house own" pilsner lines tell the story. If Dylan Mulvaney had never existed - which I wouldn't mind about, I think she's an annoying prat - Bud Light would still be dying on it's arse. It's nothing to do with eager-to-be-annoyed old Daily Mail fuckers who never used to buy it anyway. | |||
