As I lie here, surrounded by bubbles in a lovely hot bath, soothing my aches and pains, sipping coffee and perusing the forums on hump day when many will be hard at the grindstone earning a crust......a thought suddenly struck me!

It must suck only having a shower at home.

How do people cope?

Sorry.

I always think this when people talk of having the bath taken out and a shower put in ..........

Nothing like a soak.

A shower is for a quicky but a bath is for life!

Two showers and a bath but tbh the grandkids use the bath more than we do when they visit..

Probably only use the bath in the winter and then usually when under the weather or that bloody lurgy thing ..

Enjoy..

Do Miss a long hot soak in bath when you have been in there so long turns you’re finger’s crinkly

Have 2 baths and 2 showers.

Always tend to use the shower. It’s a big rainfall shower though and a long shower is just as nice as a bath.

We invigorate a shower op..I prefer a shower

Hot water touching my skin

An oil based shower creme to keep my skin soft

Now a bath gives you wrinkled toes and hands ..no comparison

Honestly, I love the idea of a bath but in reality I find it makes me feel all groggy. I don't like it and would happily shower for the rest of my days. A hot tub is different, though!

I love a bath,I take a book and a brew in and chill in the bubbles.

Our old bath had to be replaced, along with the rest of the suite last year.

We couldn't have a bath for almost 2 weeks and I really missed it, I don't think I could live in a place without one now.

I love a shower, there is nothing better than the water beating down and soothing your body. However, I love the indulgence of my bath. The ability to shut out the world and just luxuriate in the warm bubbly water and not have to do anything or rush for anything. The job is to just be.

I wouldn’t live in a house that didn’t have a bath, one of life’s greatest pleasures is lying for ages in a hot bath with favourite music on the wireless. Fitted a double ended bath (exes choice) when I did my bathroom 9 years ago and it’s only ever been used solo haha

You get the soapy stuff, put it on a scrubbing thingy and wash yourself thoroughly.

Then, you (if you have the facilities) let the plug out and rinse under the shower after washing your hair.

I thought the purpose of a bath was to get clean and scrub away dead skin.
