During the rampaging knife attack by a mentally ill man in an Australian shopping centre, a new hero has been born. A Frenchman held the knife man a bay and bought time for others to escape by confronting the knife attacker with a metal bollard. The Ossies are naming him Bollard Man and the Austalian President has offered the French hero an extended visa and citizenship. Tom is not sure that Australian citizenship is much of a reward. Tom would of preferred other Australian perks such as free shark fishing trip with tubes of lager thrown in. But well done to Frenchie. He put his life on the line. Vivre La France. Tom is becoming a big fan of the French. It's all over the news. .
