"The airwaves died today..... Terry Wogan hung up his Radio 2 morning show for the last time A sad day." Whether we like it or not, there comes a time when we have to close the curtains for the final time Pity Bruce Forsyth can't accept that!

"sounds awful but absolutely love radio 4 - the comedy and eclectic range its fab! We listen to battle of britain, i usually get one right and Jay gets more than them " Brain of Britain is excellent, as is Round Britain Quiz. RBQ has the added advantage of not being just a 'this is the question - what is the answer' type programme. I confess to being completely addicted to Radio 4. I even listen to Gardners' Question Time although I never understand a word of it. It's just great to listen a bunch of experts like that. One of the few radio shows which temps me from Radio 4 is Garrison Keilor's Prairie Home Companion on BBC Radio7. Almost as good as hearing the guy live.
