"I want to go to the Crazy Bear. Not because the thought of going to Beaconsfield attracts me in the slightest...but I keep seeing the photos of the copper freestanding baths and four poster beds and just think "ooh...the photos I could get there!" " The different rooms have different baths too. The one I stayed in had a big jacuzzi bath that could fit four and a huge shower as well.

" There's a Crazy Bear at Stadhampton in South Oxfordshire, as well. It's also very nice.

"What's yours and why? (Please try not to upset Basil!) " Village, holidaying or prem usually. Village inns just feel nicer, but they're consistent and reliable. Plus they usually have a gym/pool. Some Holiday inns have rooms with 2 king size beds, and some suites with separate rooms, sofas etc. Great for group meets. Prems are just reliable. Even the crap ones have decent beds and workable showers!
