No, that's your dirty mind.

Please share any tips you may have for cleaning particular items, surfaces or areas.

I'm looking for advice on cleaning the dark build up in the corners of a bathroom ceiling. I've wiped it with cillit bang et al, which seems to remove some of it but just move the rest.

What's going on here guys? It's all over the (insert witty word that sounds like news)

Mix bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar in water and squirt it on the mouldy bits, probably difficult on ceilings though

Does this work on mold?

We've got a patch in the kitchen

Vinegar, washing up liquid and bicarb of soda will help reduce the gunk on most bathroom walls. Im not sure of the quantities required, i just guess. Lol.

Beat me to it! It also works on ceilings, but not carpets.

Washing liquid water and dishes sponge many times does the job .

Avoid green sponges as it greens everything. Pick a white from shops or a white cloth or a towel identical colour to surface to avoid stains .

If domestic washes don't do the job consider research the professional painting method

Sugar soap , wash , rinse very well .

Paint with Zinzer ( very expensive )

Oil paint like undercoat for the cheaters .

Once dry paint as you wish ...

Wet rooms special paint is very expensive.

Tho research as is worth it .

Specially if is one of those wet rooms with no windows .

If surface is far soaked up .

Consider demolish it all .and patch

Or else is nail varnish in dishes sponges . Waste of money n time .

Asbestos kills you .

Do NOT demolish materials of you not confident about what is made off .

Specially in old buildings .

Not so much cleaning but sounds like room needs ventilated better or if there’s a vent extract for shower/bath that it’s not working right.

And hasn’t come back up to yet!
