I host a pub quiz at my local and I make the quizzes. Just running out of ideas for categories.

So....what's your favourite?

Just make the categories increasingly niche…

Band’s whose second album flopped.

Films the director disowned.

80s TV stars who you thought were dead already.

Celebrity Violin de Ingres- (people who are famous for one thing but are also highly successful in a second field)

I love a good picture round...

I just live quizzes!

Sports rounds are a pain in the arse though.

Maybe get some ideas from the 1% club because they’re definitely “outside the box” thibking questions

Red Sea Fisheries (unlikely)

I did do well in a pub quiz in Australia. A picture round called "Tranny or Fanny".

*I'm not sure that one occasion makes me an expert though!

I used to join in a quiz that was organised on here but played online i liked General knowledge i used to come 4th or 5th out out maybe 15 players but the winners could sometimes double my points lol

My favourites in order

Geography, astronomy, general science.

You could start with capital cities of countries and choose a different continent each week for round 1.

For the harder round 2 you could do capital cities by state/ province/ territory.

For astronomy you could start with names of planets to start with then move onto naming the moons of each planet.

My cat was called Styx after the moon!
