Deepest darkest Peru

My 40th was truly awful so when I hit fifty I had celebrations that lasted nine weeks long

Absolutely bloody loved every single one of them

I deleted everything I wanted to write.

I’ll try to enjoy my 50th on my own. I might go away?

Last birthday I ever celebrated was my 21st.

I just don't get the appeal of celebrating getting older after that.

Dubai & Nottingham

Really not into big birthday celebrations, I just don’t get it & don’t like this kind of pressure & attention.

Much rather do a few small quiet things with different people over a couple of days, my birthday kind of being a good excuse to see friends/family and take them out!

Edinburgh

My 18th and 21st passed without celebration. I had a party on my 30th and my 40th was a few different things as well as a big night out with friends.

Although not a milestone birthday I'm planning to be in Paris with my boys for my 41st

I don't think I've gone all out for any of my milestone birthdays. Might throw myself a pity party when I hit 30 though

I’m planning on having a party for my 30th this year!

Although, it’ll be more of a sad occasion than a party

My 60th was awesome, also notable as the last party before lockdown even for lots of my kid’s friends! The venue manager wouldn’t believe me that £3k over the bar wouldn’t be a problem

When I hit 50 my kids turned 16, 18 and 21 that year. We went to Edinburgh for a few days, it was great. Fab apartment, cake, champagne, meals out, etc. I love my family

Not big on parties for birthdays but I did have one for my 30th

The only milestone I enjoyed was my 40th, mainly thanks to my missus (although we weren't married at the time). I got forty presents of various sizes, one of which was a strangely relaxing 3-night narrowboating holiday - I loved it!

People have increased risks of death on or near their birthday, so maybe birthdays should be cancelled

For my 40th, I sent out 23 invites. Not a single person responded. Everyone chickened out. So the missus and I went on our own to TG in London.
