Gym time.

Trying to build the ultimate playlist for going a run or lifting heavy weights. So anyone that works out fancy dropping there go to song for motivation etc etc.

All go first my two I love to listen to when I’m lifting some weights are:

Those are very different playlists for me. For running I prefer a mix of podcasts and either rhythmic, melodic or epic depending on the setting and how knackered I am, although more often than not I'm happy listening to nothing most the time.

For gym I flit between drum and bass, dance or cheesy funky old stuff depending on my mood. Any of it is better than listening to the stuff they play at the gym or listening to the grunts of the bloke in the middle of the gym

There is something about a bit of Pendulum or Prodigy that really helps when it’s an interval run or HIIT workout.

Otherwise I quite like the Spotify workout/running playlists - choose a bpm for the pace you’re aiming for and see what it surprises you with.
