On my way back from the beach this morning with our dog, I was coming through Ladock Woods and a fookin' Parrot or Cockatoo or something that looked very similar flew across the road and disappeared into the trees. Now I'm pretty familiar with our local birdlife, and yes I know what I saw.

It was a lovely orange/red bird, bit smaller than a pigeon. I couldn't see whether it had a ring on it's leg as it flew off into the trees and out of my view.

So if anybodies lost a Parrot, it's hiding in Ladock Woods

Hopefully it will be ok,they tend to get bullied off wild birds if they escape.

There's a herd of Wallabies on Cannock Chase in West Mids. They've been there for years.

The London Parakeets are quite famous. I've seen them on the telly a few times. My mate lives near Erith and he says they sometimes turn up there too.

We see them trashing the trees at the rear of our house near Devizes, They get quiet aggressive if you go near them.

Our local park has a small flock of parakeets, I'd heard about them but had never seen them until last summer.

You should see the brown scorpions in the wall in the graveyard near us, Been there for years, more there than we see in southern France.

in Lancashire

bloody parakeets need culling..

they're not indigenous and bound to have a derogatory effect on our native birds..
