Exactly. We know sonone who failed to make it across the solent despite having an expert sailor with them. Sure the boat starting to sink didnt help.. nor settkng fire to at the same time either.

Setting fire to it whilst attempting to sail it, was probably foolhardy though

Ahoy there sailors. Can I be of assistance? I can sail, and have my RYA qualifications...but only to skipper a yacht as far as France. That could be fun though. So, who of you lot has a yacht we could borrow?
