Omg we literally lived off it when I was a kid, it must have been dirt cheap lol - we'd get it at home and in school.. I remember the battered school spam used to oooze yellow fat onto the plate

Spam can be alright depending what you're doing with it. When I was 18 I had a Korean housemate who used spam in some of her cooking it was yummy. Not sure I'd fancy a spam fritter though.

As a kid at school, loved spam fritters and their treacle sponge with custard.

Did a "re-visit" of that food, cooked in that style, in my 40s.

Felt like puking.

A big "yay" became a huge "nay".

Maybe I'll like it again in my 80s or 90s?

Spoon fed by others whilst I piss and shit myself.....
